Animal Control/Code Enforcement Officer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responds to complaints concerning violations of various city ordinances, including but not limited to animals running at large, dangerous dogs, animal bites, and property damage.
Removes dead, injured or dangerous animals from streets and residential premises.
Investigates violations of city ordinances (ie: buildings, health, weeds, and fire codes) and issues warnings or citations as required.
Serves various criminal or civil notices or papers, and appears in court to testify regarding cases.
