Fairmont Police Sergeants:

The Sergeants are uniformed patrol supervisors who are responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the Fairmont Police Department. The Sergeants are responsible for the overall direction, assistance, and development of the members of the Fairmont Police Department patrol division.

General Duties:

To ensure the quality of service provided
Respond to calls or incidents and coordinate resolution efforts with other officers or agencies.
In the absence of the chief or lieutenant, the on-duty sergeant is responsible for the operations of the department.
Sergeants review cases and reports to ensure that proper follow up and investigation is completed.

Each sergeant is also assigned one particular area of responsibility for our department. There are currently four sergeants on staff with the Fairmont Police Department. They are each listed below along with their area of responsibility.
